| The Inn at Castle Hill, formerly known as The Brown Cottage, is the oldest building on Castle Hill. A structure was built on this site about 1840, probably by Manasseh Brown, and was an extended farmhouse with Italianate details, a popular design style that was often used in the mid 19th century. Today after a major restoration the Inn features the work of many distinguished interior designers. The designers have infused new life into the rooms, staircases and hallways, creating a rich flow of color and textures. |
